A Night With PHUNK

(Blog Update For The Recent Night Out With PHUNK)

PRESS / Media Invites...
Apple Malaysia: New Range of iPod's available... [Read More - Click Here]
Baskin Robbins Cafe: Outlet Review & Sampling [Read More - Click Here]
Pavilion: Media Invite to Miss England 2007/08 [Read More - Click Here]

I was here to have fun with my friends, and I had FUN!. I was also here to chillout with my friends, and i CHILLed OUT with my friends! That was awesome... Although i got invited for this event (of which i received the invite via Snail Mail) - i was quite surprised and yes i did accept the invite by the PHUNK Project Coordinator officially. But on the day itself when i came to support, i came as myself - a friend who just wanna chillout with my other friends whom i invited to join the party together! That was awesome...!!!

Sometimes, some of us just need some time out from going to events, representing ourselves as people in the media / broadcast industry or event Celebrities / Artists or even personalities. This reminds me during one of my interviews with the Media. One of the major newspaper journalists interviewed me for an upcoming write-up about me being a Producer / Radio Announcer, he asked "How's it like celebrating / preparing your Hari Raya celebration this year as a celebrity?" I was like... huh??? Celebrity? Then he said... "ermmm what about as a personality" - oh well... anyways i shall write about this in my next update.

Project PHUNK, some of you may have heard it in the recent weeks... its a charity event & garage sale to collect money to be donated to HOSPIS Malaysia. These events were organised by the Mass Comm Students of Taylors College PJ Campus and powered by over 40 students within the same project to make the entire event a successful one, and of which they did... it got into the big Papers and some major radio stations.

We broke fast together at Winter-Warmers @ the Curve. Met up with my friends first before going for the party at Laundry. (L-R: Thomas, Me, William, Richard, Gadiy, Han Jung).

Heal the heart... here's Jack being approached by Roger... Jack happily donated RM1 to heal the heart by putting a plaster on the heart and writing his name on it with a marker pen.

We had a great time chatting with one another at Laundry, we sat on the outside as it was kinda hard to listen to each other if we were to sit inside. (L-R: Han Jung, Jack, Me, Roger, Gadiy) The nite was awesome!!! Basically some of my friends here didnt know each other before, but after this night... it feels like as if they've know one another for long!

Ought to check out the term fellowship in the dictionary... anyways chillin' out with Rachel, Joshua, Bernard & Xuan Han as well here at Laundry. We had one big long table to accomodate to Rachel's CG and my friends.

Jason was there too, met up with Jason here, he was like half drunk i guess...!!!

What's the difference between a friend, a good friend, a close friend, a buddy, a pal and a good buddy friend? Well...that doesn't matter does it??? As long as we're all friends at heart and we're enjoying ourselves!!! This night was awesome, some of us went for Cybercafe to play games till whee hours in the morning!

Are you generous enough to donate money... well show your support people!!!

Happy Birthday to Richard!!! I'm sure you're having such an enjoyable time tonight celebrating your b'day in advance!!! Don't worry, when i come back... we'll have another bashin' party!!!

Time well spent, everyone is happy! What else can you ask for??? Congrats to Joshua for the awesome performance! But i really have to say i prefer you performing on your own!!! :)

Isaac arrived late, so we all were about to leave but Will and I met up with Isaac for supper here at McD's!!! That's all for tonight... see y'all!!!

PS: By the way, i am still in Penang, anyone who is in Penang, my friends whom i've lost contact with or what... please call / sms me at 012-331 9507, we shall meet up k!!!

J.Co Donuts & Coffee

(Blog Update For 20th September 2007)

J.Co Donuts & Coffee is now opened at Pavilion on Jalan Bukit Bintang... as i previously announced on my blog on the day of the launching of Pavilion, yes i was there to witness the opening and visit the grandeur of this shopping excellence that makes Malaysia another location to hit by tourists who seeks for excellent shopping experiences.

Was there on the day of the opening, sorry that this update had to come in so late... but i did summarise in one of my updates on the opening day that Pavilion carries certain brands and one of them is J.Co Donuts from Indonesia.

Before i go any further... I've worked out a simple deal with J.Co Donuts & Coffee - soon after Hari Raya, i will be organising a small little gathering at J.Co Donuts & Coffee for some of my friends and blog readers to have a few bites and drink at J.Co for FREE. Let's wait for after raya shall we... Thx. to J.Co Donuts & Coffee!!!

Well for some of you who simply LOVES donuts, you may have been going to the Curve in Mutiara Damansara to buy donuts in dozens... but the true original brand that first created these lovely donuts with fillings inside is J.Co Donuts & Coffee which originated from Indonesia more than 3 years ago. So come on over taste the original and true taste of these delicious yummy donuts at J.Co in Pavilion Bukit Bintang. Soon J.Co will be opening its 2nd outlet in Malaysia at Sunway Pyramid 2 nearby the entrance to Sunway Lagoon. Watchout for it...

On the day of the launching, i met up with the nice people from J.Co donuts who briefed me all about J.Co donuts, its history and products. Managed to snap a few photos of the donuts and went back with a happy smiling face because i got 2 dozen of donuts for free! Thx J.Co!!!

J.Co Donuts are awesome...i simply love their donuts and the different flavors such as TiraMissU, Don Mochino, CocoLoco and etc... They have their very own signature ice blended drinks too and get a free Glazy Donut upon ordering an Ice-Blended drink, if you're lucky upon queuing for donuts, you may get a glazy donuts to eat and stop your mouth from watering furthermore!

The nice decorative items here at J.Co Donuts & Coffee @ Pavilion...

One of J.Co's staff showing 2 of its best sellers the Almond Donut (sorry i forgot the name), and Glazy Donut... This box can fit 1 dozen that's 12...pieces of donuts!

That's me looking happy with my 2 dozen of Donuts to be brought home and share with family!!! Thanks J.Co!!!

They have alot of different varieties of Donuts & Coffee here... but on this day that i went to it was their opening and so the rest of the donuts wasn't ready yet. But be sure to come back here within 2 days - as i will post up the rest of the pictures from J.Co which i went to last week...

2 weeks ago, i went to J.Co Donuts at Pavilion again, this was like for the upteenth time! But i went with a few friends namely James, Joshua and William.

Here's a close-up of the Glazy donuts and the Almond... the looks of the Glazy donuts can be so simple but the taste is so sophisticated and UMMPHHH!!! Its so delicious...

Get a dozen of donuts... its cheaper than buying one by one if you were to go in a group!

Have you tried them? It's a MUST!!! The queue at times goes as long as a choot choot train :P

Was at Pavilion 2 weeks ago, met up with Sandra, Joshua, William and James... there was a fashion show that was going on!!! Heheh... what a coincidence!

Disclaimer...:
PS: I am not sponsored by J.Co Donuts & Coffee or what... i wrote this blog update upon my personal review and taste of the selections of Donuts that J.Co has to offer comparing it with other local brands and other donut companies in Malaysia. And yes i do pay for my own donut when i came over for a bite sometimes and i did get some donuts for free to share with my colleagues!!!

Well now is the TIME to update with a FULL collection of what had happened at the PARTAYYY!!!

Jack left for Sydney (Australia) to further his studies at Macquarie University...!!! Many of my friends asked me how am i going to cope with my closest friend being away from the country. If you go thru my blog previously, since i gave the opportunity and chance to Jack, Joshua and few others to join in to AMP Radio and become part of my interns at the office - they've been very helpful and learnt quite alot of stuffs by workin' at Astro. Jack being the last to leave the internship program (due to the rest had other study commitments and furthering elsewhere), well he appeared in many of my updates for press conferences / events and launches... therefore how'z it like... well life changes thru time... everyone has to evolve, change, pursue their dreams but hey everyone still stays the same! So we'll continue staying in touch with one another.
