Its Damansara Uptown branch had just opened recently within the same building as HSBC thus giving all HSBC Credit Card Holders a GREAT 75% discount off their food and beverages in 1 whole bill. Isn't that a steal...
So i took this great opportunity to meet up with some of my friends that i haven't had the chance to meet up with for a while and have dinner at Izzi DU. Everyone was surprised and some couldn't even believe it. Some of those whom i haven't met for a while were Gadiy (yep..his B'day was last week so we celebrated it here), Jack (he's been busy with his training and work...), Ringo (my classmate at LimKokWing), Paul Levine (ever since this guy been working at Starbucks..he's been busy like mad!) and many others la...
But hey, it was a great evening - the best part was those who came this evening did not know one another, except for some who knows maybe 1 or 2... but in the end everyone started exchanging phone numbers, e-mail addresses and everyone made several new friends. There were 18 of us here tonight and it was a great moment for each and everyone.

I simply love to do this... gathering my friends from all sorts of walks of life and bring each and everyone together for dinner / lunch and thus at the end of the meal everyone would be talking and getting to know one another. The beauty of life and friendship...

For Teriyaki sauce fans!!! This is a must try... the Teriyaki Chicken Pasta... except that the pasta was too cold already when it was served to me. Otherwise this would've been nice! Should change the Fettucini to Linguini or something thinner!

Pavilion: Esprit Concept Store
(Blog Update For 20th September 2007)Concept Store - Redefined: Malaysia's newest shopping mall "Pavilion" has many international retail outlets and one of them is ESPRIT's concept store. Pavilion houses this 3-floor Esprit store which has all the range of ESPRIT clothings inclusive of EDC, not forgetting ESPRIT Salon & ESPRIT Cafe.

You may enter ESPRIT from its ground level entrance on the side of the shopping mall or from the main entrance neer the centercourt. ESPRIT can be found on 3 levels.
ESPRIT has been succesful within the youth / young adults... their target market are mainly teenagers for EDC as it's actually a range of cheaper / more affordable versions of ESPRIT clothings as through research they've found out that teenagers nowadays are more fashion conscious and love to change their clothes very often - therefore budget is a big thing for them, therefore EDC came out in the market under ESPRIT for those fashion conscious teens!
The really nice people from ESPRIT's Hair Salon - they're offering 50% discount thru Vouchers given away to selected customers. Come on over to try this offer out!
The design of the place is modern, there's a balcony which will be ready soon for some...i forgot what!

Pavilion: The Grand Media Launching...
(Blog Update For 20th September 2007)Here's a very short update as i'm pretty much tired and no mood to blog at this point of time. Realy feel very uncomfortable and all now, one of them is the feeling like... ahh forget it! Anyways here's some few pics from the Pavilion first day opening in the morning during the Media launching.
There are many other pics i'd like to upload, such as dinner at Izzi with about 17 other friends, Project PHUNK event @ TCSJ, and many others... let's concentrate on Pavilion first before it becomes old story!
The concourse area, there's a grand staircase that depicts some sort of Roman times...that leads you down to the concourse...

ESPRIT first concept store in South East Asia...comprising of ESPRIT Salon, ESPRIT Cafe and the ESPRIT range of clothings.
J.Co Donuts & Coffee from Indonesia, they're the original bakers - apparently another company copied their idea and developed it into a local Malaysian brand selling the same item. But guess what.. J.Co is still the best!
There are 7 levels in total here...around 70% of the shops are open! Let's see who's coming in next.
There's Etoile Bistro located at the side... serving some really nice stufs! i haven't tried it yet!

Pavilion - Kuala Lumpur
(Blog Update For 18th September 2007)2 days prior to its opening on the 20th of September, i visited the site and was pretty much impressed with the finishings of the building and the amount of workers there trying their very best to finish up everything and ensure that everything goes as planned for the opening on the 20th of September.
Pavilion is the only brand new shopping mall opening in Kuala Lumpur this year, and the rest are just extensions such as "the Gardens - MidValley"and Sunway Pyramid 2. The Pavilion spelt with a single "L" is Malaysia's newest shopping mall which will carry the pride of the country. Some of the retail outlets in this mall had just entered the Malaysian market and making its first debut in Pavilion, some don't even have an outlet in Singapore. Wanna know which ones... let's find out soon enough on the 20th of September!

(Blog Update For For The Recent Days...)Have you ever thought that this plastic card could give you tremendous offers throughout the year? Well HSBC Credit Card does that! 75% Discount for the 1st week of the opening of IZZI in Damansara Uptown to all its customers who pays via HSBC.
This was more of like an impromptu kind of plan... you know me, i'm the kind of person that makes plans last minute because at times i have to work and all! So my schedule is uncertain. Therefore, had dinner with a few friends from various different colleges and line... William, Kevin, Leonard, Joshua and also with Justin, Jon, Ernest and Ah Mai here at Izzi. A Very last minute plan became into more of like a family dinner!
The bill came up to about RM300 sumthin... but we only paid about RM83! Yes... some of us even ate for like 2 persons worth so there was 9 of us in total, but Ernest, Mai and I ate for like 2 persons worth each so that means in total there was like 12 persons... you do the maths!
Anyways, those who came here tonight most of them don't know one another, basically i mixed 4 different groups of my friends to this dinner and after the dinner they all know one another! Awesome innit! This is what i love to do... networking!

The Chicken Steak with Pasta is simply delicious. The pasta mix with olive oil and herbs is just awesome! I had 2 servings of this dish on this night!
Ok ok... yes let's not eat too much cause after this 'yall going for futsal! Mwahah...
Despite the free refill drinks running at RM6.90 and overall bill would be discounted by 75% discount... we ate and ate and ate!!!

Well...we're still hungry after all that, yes... Futsal was at 1Utama rooftop - didn't know that there's a new futsal place up there! Well... we're hungry after all and went to McD for supper met up with Chris there as William made the arrangements to do so!
