Quick Getaway to Penang...

(Blog Update For The Days That I was Offline...)

Dear readers of my humble blog...i am so sorry that i have been away for quite awhile and i know the blog post that i'm about to give you here now is not what you expected it to be. Not one of those super duper cool photos of some gadgets and all that, oh well this is what i could come up with in the nick of time. Please do accept this for now, till later at night when im home after work i shall try my best to update a lil' something for y'all!

But before that, to explain my disappearance since last friday...i was actually on a very QUIET holiday trip up to Penang, only very few people knew that I was up in Penang i.e.: my Boss, Adi (my DJ for my radio show), Jack (my assistant for the radio show / my closest friend), and Chee Hsien. It was a short holiday trip up to penang with my mom, dad and cousin. Quick getaway turned into a nice meet with fellow northern bloggers from Penang. Will explain all that later but for now...

This was a shot taken from inside a Rapid KL bus as we passed by KL Tower, right in front of "the Weld".

Looking blur...aimless on where to go, shot inside a "Handicapped" bus... err no like Jack always say "shaz, the bus is not handicapped...it's meant for handicapped people!!!"...

Oh ya...we interviewed Ferhad on this night...thanks to Jack for helping out with some photos. Forgotten which!

Who is this??? "Her"??? - well this is Shayna Zaid! All the way from New York...yes she's MALAYSIAN!

She's so sweet...has a great voice and you ought to buy her album, it's pretty much worth it!

Interviewing Karen Kong...

(Blog Update For 24th May 2007)

Karen Kong from Labuan here...on the east coast of Malaysia has finally came over again to the Xfresh FM studio to promote her upcoming "online concert" and tell us more about her latest news such as...Karen being the newest Product Ambassador for "Sunsilk Shampoo". Well here she is together with Jack and Adi here on Planet Xfresh show @ Xfresh FM.

me!bourne: T for Traffic Light

(Visit Me!bourne Year 2007)

Visit Malaysia...yes that's what we've been doing, me Jack, Jo, Sammy and many others weeks ago when we went to Malacca to celebrate Jack's birthday there! Well we've toured all around Malaysia and now its time to explore some other places outside of Malaysia...why not Visit me!bourne this year!

Oops..i hope the Ministry of Tourism won't kill me for this... there's alot that we need to improve on with the "Visit Malaysia Year 2007"...first of all we need to clean up alot of stuffs and make our city a "Trourist Friendly City". Yes, many efforts and attempts has been made by the Government to make everything as good as other foreign nations, but still there's alot of loopholes and 3rd parties making money out of all these investments and upgrades to the city...well everyone wants to be rich all at one go so this is what happens. I mean.. if other countries can have the luxury of having what they have, why can't we? Why do we have to go thru so much trouble and pain to get what we need for our nation to grow and be in the top of people's mind! AWARENESS... that's important...CLEANLINESS too...

Cars need traffic lights... but do public transports such as "TRAMS" need this too?

I tell you, there's no parking lot in Malaysia that will accept such a car like this! It's a HUMMER H2 Limo Edition!

The station that has it all...daily hundreds and thousands of commuters will commute in and out of this station. In Malaysia, we see LOTS of people driving around...no wonder there' no such things as "Traffic Jams" in western countries...because Public Transport there is VERY EFFICIENT and CHEAP!

visit me!bourne 2007

(Visit Me!bourne 2007 Family Trip)

What can you do in Australia? I have no idea... actually much more than what you can do here in Malaysia!!! SHOPPING, FOOD, Chocolates, everything...they have LOADS of big brands there and you'll be amazed by the GREAT service that they have over there in terms of public transport, cleanliness and much more.

What can i say... visit Me!bourne and you'll find it out for yourself! It's a nice place to go and nice place to be at. But one thing that Malaysia has LOADS of is hangout places for late night SUPPERS and all!!! Wai Sik Kai, Ming Tien...SS2, Hartamas, Mt. Kiara...whoaaa we're full of night life here! Over there...or other western countries....errmm Bar's perhaps! :P 2nd chapter of this Family Trip to Me!bourne will be up soon!!!

But before that, i have to say...after reviewing the pics from Me!bourne and Jack's family trip to Perth...i can say that the colors n all are REAL with no edits are just AWESOME! Unlike taking pics here in KL..

Proven...the pics taken in Perth some shots by Jack using my Canon S2IS are awesome... let's wait for that shall we! Family trip to both Perth & Melbourne updates coming up real soon! Both families returned to Kuala Lumpur safe & sound with loads of Arnotts biscuits & chocs!
