Sushi Groove (1Utama)

(Blog Update For June 2007)

Sushi Groove situated on level 1 of 1Utama New Wing right near to Padini Concept Store...is really a FOOD oriented "Japanese" dining concept store that came all the way from Jakarta, Indonesia. Came back from Bandong, Indonesia...met up with Jack after a week being abroad...so we went for lunch at SushiGroove! It was GROOVY! :P

It is a chain of restaurants from Indonesia serving groovy stylishly new types of Sushi with a great Japanese taste! The restaurant looks quite exquisite, the food served in a really trendy way, the taste is almost authentic (as compared to Jogoya). I'd say the food is worth it for its price range... Where else can you get such nice lighting for Japanese dining in a mall such as this. Well, as you can see Sushi Groove is a groovy place, varieties in food are enormous...apparently there's alot that this place has to offer. Do try it out real soon!

The tables here are connected to one another, you'll be eating on a long table and guess what - your next door neighbour could be someone that you may not even know.

The chopsticks with its stylish bowl... the table is sanitized! Awesome...

One thing i like about this restaurant is the lighting...makes it so nice and expensive!

The bowls here are quite deep thus making it more worth it for us customers!

If you're a CHILI powder fan...then try this out - the Chili aroma is so natural!

The beef burger is made by hand and not machine...thus giving you a great taste and fascinating texture!

Chicken Teriyaki, this was what Jack had for the afternoon...its with shredded beef.

Jack enjoying his lunch...he loves it but quite on the steepy price...for err u know dining here!

Me enjoying every single bit of Japanese Food here!

Dragon Sushi...forgotten what its really called but hey...this is one of the MOST ordered dishes here!

Last but not least a group photo just before we end our lunch here at 1Utama.

With melted cheese surrounding the sushi...

All so symmetrical...the arrangements here are so neat and nice.

Not one of those cheapskate tablewware like u can find in a "KING" sort of Japanese restaurant!

Melted Cheese with beef bacon wrapped around rice with seaweed...doesn't this make you hungry?
