Enjoying LIFE to the fullest...

(Blog Update For July August 3rd - 5th 2006)

Being the person I am, I like to enjoy life with my family, friends and living a healthy life. Thus not doing anything illegal or bad for health. Although nowadays i find that i've been coming back home kinda late...i hope this is just for these few weeks as i've been celebrating my bday's with lotsa friends.

Before i put up more of my updates and explain what happened on these 3 days...i just want to thank my friends for celebrating my birthdays with me. Those who've been throwing me surprise birthday celebrations with different group of friends at different events and all. Really appreciate it.

The latest b'day celebration was last night the 17th of August 2006 at LAUNDRY Bar @ the CURVE. Kelz, Ivan, Joan, Calvin, Paul and Cheryl. The whole bunch gave me a present and surprised me for this bday celebration...and together with them and the rest...everyone sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me RIGHT in front of LAUNDRY Bar @ the CURVE. Wow...what a day!!!

Anyways, do enjoy the pictures below, these were taken on 3 different days...so next update would be a TRIO on the Jazz Fest.

Jack together with Pitt and Gerard. Gerard is the engineering dude at AMP who does all the promo's for Xfresh FM. Pitt was there to record his promo and Jack was there to record the Nacho Libre promo that is aired now on Xfresh FM.

Gerard asked both of us to record our voices, then he'll see which he'll want to use for the promo. Jack did the other part of the work by getting the script authorised and signed by Aaron Pinto our station manager.

Brought some interns for a tour of a the All Asia Broadcast Center after their interview here by me. Whahaha...am i SCARY!!!

Here's a picture of the console that was used to record our in-house promo. Awesome...innit!!!

This was on one of the nights that Jack just finished his service at Church, picked him up for dinner at Bangsar before going to Jazz Fest @ Mt. Kiara to meet up with Steph and June.
We had dinner at Syed Bistro - Jack already had his dinner at Church...so it was Ivan's time to eat this HUMONGOUS big portion of Nasi Biryani Bukhara. Since i was late to pick him up...i spent him dinner...wmahhah!!!
Listerine roadshow was there at Bangsar near Syed Bistro...we all gargled our mouth with the new orange flavor and got into a lucky dip and won a little something from them.

Here we are at Mt. Kiara Jazz Fest...both Ivan and Jack doing a pose in front of the elevator at the parking lot.

A bunch of us went out on one night...it was a very last minute thing...went out to take some pictures of KL city and its skyline by night. Awesome stuffs...!!!
Dinner at Burger King before going out taking pictures by night...yummy!!! We were all on a budget...so we ordered the cheapest burger around.

Was out whee hours at night / morning...can't remmeber with this bunch of guys taking photos at KL Tower and other strategic locations and monuments in and around KL.

Paul was directly on the road trying to take a photo with slow shutter speed of the KL Tower. He used my tripod!!!

Asyraf Lee with his MEGA PROFESSIONAL tripod used for this night shot!!! His photos are SUPERB!!!

Shisha...is not really bad for health. I personally don't shisha since my cousin n someone doesn't want me to.

The good samaritan that I am went to help Ziyad with his car tyre which is punctured along the way in front of Astro towards MINES. He didn't have a JACK. So had to lend him one.
Brand new tyres, somehow it got ripped...poor Ziyad even his spare tyre got punctured after that. Dunno why...

Won this from the Listerine van parked @ Bangsar near TMC. Jack and Ivan won some other listerine products, but i got the best out of all...mwahhha!!!

Was at the office, Muiz and Kyels posed for a photo that we took to be used for the NACHO LIBRE promo on Xfresh. But somehow it wasn't used at all...wmahaah!!!

Mr Organiser of the "supposedly bloggers meet" but it was actually a surprise bday celebration for me. Thanks Ivan!!!

Had lunch at Old Asia Cafe @ 1Utama - really great stuffs they have here for really cool prices.
These are the Hong Kong style ToFu with Chicken in the middle and with egg deep fat fried. My first time trying it but it was so so so EXPENSIVE. About RM 5 for the plate.

Set lunch here comes with 1 drink and this stew beef rice. Something really nice, u can actually just order one of this and get 2 rice. Save money la...

At last, old Chang Kee came back with their Octopus Head @ 1Utama's branch. Beforethis they took it out of the menu coz it was too expensive if im not mistaken. A delicacy i'd say...

Met up with Fareez, Zamer and our lovely Amber Chia - she's the ambassador for Celebrity Fitness here in Malaysia. Wow...she's also the ambassador for GUESS watches.

Went to Starbucks, one of Jared's friends works here so they get 30% discount off the drinks. Yummyy....

Kuok has never really been this vulgar before...mwahahah :P I still owe you the pictures, i know... i'll burn them into a CD and snail mail it to you via post to the States!!!

Thanks for coming tonight guys, really appreciate you all taking your time out from your busy schedules at college and all. Cheers, from Left: Ben, Darrel, Ernie, Me, Kuok and Jared.

Went to Teppanyaki for dinner. Its a Japanese restaurant franchised here in Malaysia. Awkward enuff the workers are all Chinese, not a single Japanese. There might even be some malay or indon's working there.  Posted by Picasa

Jack happily eating his Teppanyaki...there were so many other people there that night that we were lucky to find ourself some seats.  Posted by Picasa

As usual, when i'm at Teppanyaki, i'll order the all-time famous Fuji Snow. It is so nice coz they use gula melaka on it instead of the usual gula merah.  Posted by Picasa

I simply love teppanyaki...they're just so delicious!!! It depends which outlet you go to...the one in 1Utama, they don't really know how to do it... Posted by Picasa

Now, once the beef / meat is on the stove...the chef will cut the meet in small chunks (not too small) so that it will cook faster.  Posted by Picasa

The teppanyaki chef cooking the vegetables for our meals. I tried to cook this at home, but it tastes far much better here. Posted by Picasa

Dinner at Teppanyaki - As usual i'll have my Chicken Teppanyaki, the beef one is expensive now and Salmon is just way too much out of my league. Posted by Picasa
