Day 1: Marina Bay Square
(Blog Update For 18th December 2006)
There's so many things that i could talk about this modern and yet great city / country "Singapore". Of course i can't be talking about everything in singapore and posts hundreds of photos on my holiday trip here right. Well i'll try as much as i can to share with y'all bout the cool things that i saw, i've experienced and enjoyed whilst my stay down here.
First and foremost, i kept on thinking about the country "Singapore", if that's the name of the country, what's the name of the capital city? I was thinking perhaps its "Ngee Ann City", well im not too sure about that as i only saw it on the "Takashimaya" building on Orchard Road. Nevermind, if anyone of you know the answer - please do let me know. As i've already asked the great "Glaring Notebook" himself, he does not know the answer. Perhaps "Wikipedia" may do the trick.
I went to a few places on my 1st day here, i did it solo at first as we each had our own plans. I went to meet up with Ferina, an old friend here but she's SO much younger than me! :-) Well i went to City Hall station where i found myself in this "City Link Mall" - where I did a little sight seeing looking at all the nice shops they have here.
7-11 there looks so much different than the ones over here in Malaysia. Anyways, Went to Suntec City Mall where i crossed over to Marina Bay Square. More comin' up real soon...
This shop is meant for all...men, women, kids, and even babies.
I was in Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream parlour... They have AWESOME ice cream here!!!
Venezia Gelato...can't find it here - not too sure where it's from though.
Met up with Ferina, we were in Marina Bay Square.
Look at all the varieties of drinks they have by Minute Maid.
Now, is that a carnation or a rose? Well in conjunction with the Garden Festival that they were having in Singapore, Ferina plucked one out frrom one of the plants there :P ishhh!!!
Let's have a closer look at the ice-crem. Yummy yummmy!!
Not too sure where this shop is from.
Marina Bay Square - reminds me of KLCC somehow...
CARL's Junior's Pastrami Burger seems to be the main attraction here.
BEBE - in french means BABY :P
Do we even get such deals here in Malaysia?? Levi's going at 50% off!!!
The Cafe Cartel - of course they offer more than just COFFEE :P
Found the ever famous Japanese fast food restaurant selling rice based burgers. They are healthy, but so so so different! Should try out McD's rice base burgers la, so so much better!!
I bought this burger for about SGD$3 sumthin...
It tasted quite ok, love the BEEF! Reminds me of Yoshinoya!
Forgotten what this is called, seems to be a nice burger with rice base buns :P
For you hungry fellas out there, this burger must be so tempting!!
