Cupcake Chic @ the Curve... & LEO's

(Blog Update for 11th January 2008)

Before we go to the following update about Cupcake Chic at the Curve, i'm sure by now many of you have gone to watch the premiere screening of Cloverfield thanks to MyStar (from the AMBP gathering the other day - they gave away some tickets i believe). Well to those who have...what are your verdicts?

As for me, i watched Cloverfield this morning (Wednesday Morning) during the Press Screening which was way too early...!! so hard to wake up. I got dizzy during the first quarter of the movie, wanted to go out to get a breather! But the actions was so fast paced that i needed to stay in my seat! But overall, i believe that the film is a little bit too short, finished too early and i demand for an ending (but not from the DV Cam please... pening kepala la!).

Cupcake Chic @ the Curve

Last friday, was at the Curve for MixFM 'Game On' on ground event! Well although i am on air on Xfresh FM, but i represent and belong to 4 network station hitz.fm MixFM era and Xfresh (well because it all falls under the same group). The update about MixFM's Game On will be up soon! but now... just a quick one about Cupcake...

Cupcake Chic, i believe it all started when there was this craze for cupcakes (from wondermilk)... well now you can find a boutique store selling just CUPCAKES at the Curve. The prices are quite attractive and you wont be disappointed i tell ya! It's YUMMY and once you had one, you'll want another one! If you think Donuts are the latest craze in town... think again cause Cupcake Chic has arrived!

The facade of Cupcake Chic @ the Curve, it just recently opened... there will be tables and chairs for customers to enjoy their cupcakes in the open by the terrace!

There's quite a few variety to choose from... which one shall it be today? CHOOZ YUR FLAVA!!

Once you're done choosing your flava... either the ones with oreos, marshmallows... well go pay la! Then ENJOY...

Then when you enjoy... lick your fingers to show them how much you LOVE their cupcakes! hehehe... Do like Jon here :P (eh jon..stop actin like a baby lerr...says Jen). Haha.. juz wanna make u ANGRY for this lil' caption! hahahah...angry or not??? (jokin ler bro...)

LEO's @ Plaza OUG

Leo's... is it new? has it been here for a while? Definately because Amber Chia is its product ambassador if i am not mistaken and they have a UNIQUE Leo's Bucket Rice!!! Last Wednesday, went to LEO's with Jack for dinner @ Plaza OUG.

We both had the set dinner Bucket Rice (came with a cup of gelato ice cream), where we also added RM1 to get a Cham Ice together with the meal. Not forgetting the pandan bread toasted with brown sugar on top... quite a dry taste but something different than the usual oldtown kopitiam.

Try it out... its certainly worth a try if you haven't... nice place to chill out but price wise, i still feel that Oldtown is more value for money and taste!

Whoaa... suddenly its so green!!! hmmm... coloring? nahh.. permitted flavors and coloring perhaps!

Oops! Looks like someone was contented with what he had for dinner! or was it he was too hungry! Hehh... Jack jack...!!! - Wanna know what Jack and I had for dinner, scroll downnnn!!

This is my dish, its chicken something... totally forgotten la! so many things happened over the past week!

Jack's dish... he had something with mushroom! Really bad la me... can't remember!!!

Cham Ice!!! Ahhh... Jon you should try out the Cham Ice here yO!

That's all for my update!!! Will surely come back to LEO's for more... really wanna try their other specialties!!! They have a few outlets, for more info... well plz google em!

CLOVERFIELD - Press Premiere!!!

(Blog Update For 16th January 2008 @ 10.45am)

Just came back from watching the Press Premiere of Cloverfield this morning, had to wake up earlier than usual...(minding that i actually work at night and i go back home around 2 or 3am), well it was worth it!!! Woke up super early this morning to go for the PRESS PREMIERE of the movie "CLOVERFIELD".

'Cloverfield' premiering in the United States on the 18th and it's showing here in Malaysia first on the 17th. But for the members of the media had the chance to watch it BEFORE anyone else this morning!!! The movie was different from any others that i've watched. For those of you who are watching it tonight for the premiere, be prepared to experience one of the most highly anticipated movie of the year (brought to you by UIP).

A must watch movie of the month! Some totally unexpected occurrences...but i do have to say that the film is a bit short. I came out from the cinema this afternoon at 12.05pm! Wahh.. so early ya!!! - Not going to spoil the movie for y'all...(pssstt...: Jason died! Marlena got infected like in the ALIEN movie...and its a fact i can't climb up the stairs 39 floors up!).

LOL...oopS! Sorry...Have fun and thanks to UIP (my client DL) for the invites to the Press Premiere! For y'all... enjoy the movie!!! - For those who are going to Cineleisure this evening for the Premiere of CLOVERFIELD, enjoy my friends!!!

Now where did the head of the Statue of Liberty... hmmm!!! I really wished that in the film they actually showed the monster coming out from the sea! (Actually...any1 know where did it came from..?)

Next update tonight... will feature a trip to Cupcake Chic @ the Curve with Jennifer, Jon, Malcolm and Able!

Now now... which Cupcake should we try today??? It's all coming up next on this Chronicles!!!

TM: Smileys...

(Blog Update...share the smile...spread the smile to everyone)

This update, or the words that i'm about to write in this update reminds me of the movie "Patch Adams". Where Robin Williams acted as Dr. Patch Adams and wants to help the patients to recover faster and make things which seem impossible to become possible.

Well, the thing that i learnt from that particular movie was, "it all takes a smile" or "laughter cures all if not most..." So, referring to this movie where Dr. Patch Adams tried to make the most out of "laughter" it helped to cure some of the sickness but mostly brings life to the patients.

Basically, in a nutshell... just try to give a smile to your friends at work, college, school... smile at them! It can mean a thousand different things when those who really needed it the most gets it, you probably just helped to make someone happy without even noticing it (because some of us are sad but we don't really tell others about it...).

The SmileyTM photo (this one was done by me) - how to do this? Fairly easy (you can even do it in your bedroom at night!). Steps on how to do this is carefully explained at the footer of this update.

This shot was done by Jon, He actually appeared in the frame because his shirt bounced some light that was shining from the nearby lamppost!

Whereby this one was done by DK, almost like a smiley face! hehehe.. but all in all it makes us LAUGH! It helps...what a wonderful day!!!

Talking about pictures that will make people laugh...

We decided to take this picture... of us being in a sailormoon centerstage position! :P LOL...

So malu la this picture... 3 of us here at the deck, DK, Jon and Me... Ultraman pose yO!!!

As i promised... How to do the "SmileysTM"Photo...

1. Place your camera on a tripod in a (dark room / dark spot / dark place).
2. Set the camera setting to manual or shutter priority (make sure the shutter speed is enough for you to take the photo i.e.: 10seconds, 13seconds or 15seconds).
3. Set the camera on timer i.e.: 2seconds, 10seconds (depending on how much time you need to get ready on the other end).
4. Stand in front of your camera (at a distance far enough to be in the frame) - with a torchlight or phone light.
5. Get ready with the 'light source' cover it up with your hand and only uncover it if you want to draw something within the specific time frame that was set on.
6. Step out of frame once you're done drawing although there's extra time let it be...if you're in the frame for too long you might be captured into the photo and you can see yourself!

** Bonus: If you want to see yourself in the photo, push the flash up, activate it so that it shoots the flash on the 1st curtain (this will take the overall picture) and continue drawing after the first picture was taken and your drawings will appear after the picture has been fully taken!
