(Blog Update For 9th March 2006)Ying Roe & Jack came over to LUCT on last thursday to visit the campus and may write an article on a visit to LUCT. Well, the whole purpose was for 4 of them (my new interns) to meet up with each other outside of the office area as its more conducive there.
So yea, they all met up for lunch...it was really fun as we get to talk in an environment where it is totally different from being in the office.
Therefore, after lunch we moved back to the office for some REAL work and introduction to the team.
Steven: We should bring up the sports section back on Xfresh, it would definately generate alot of page views.
Thursday afternoon, we we at LimKokWing to discuss Content Development matters with the rest of the team members. Ying Roe, Jack, Steven and El Sen were there. Since Roe's first article is on LUCT..ahah!!!

Gymming & Eating
(Blog Update For 8th March 2006)Wednesday, its the day that i go to the gym early in the morning for Body Step class at 10.45am, yes i know its not very early...but at least i get to see a few of my friends around and exercise with them. "Baru ada semangat to gym, right"...

Wednesday mornings, its always a nice day to go to Fitness First. As i will get to meet Alfred (my friend from Taylors College)...he stays in Damansara Heights so yea, its so near for him. Kay Li used to be one of my crew members at Xfresh, she's now studying in HELP UC and in stage play industry,
get to meet her too. Philip Mak also one of my Xfresh CREW but now working in a company somewhere...goes there every wednesday morning too. Not forgetting Jack who goes to gym every single day...so yea get to meet him too.
So yea, with all these friends going to gym, im so into exercising now...well that's just for Menara Manulife RB Fitness First. If i were to go to Menara Axis FF i'll be meeting William one of my colleagues at Xfresh. The Curve i'll be meeting Maman one of my close friends from college back in APIIT. Menara Maxis FF i'll be meeting Dinesh one of my old friends back from RMTM. Summit's FF i'll be meeting Shane one of my old friends from Xfresh Online. Cheras Leisuremall FF i'll be meeting Jason one of my colleagues at Xfresh.
So yea, that wednesday....Jack was the only one left, as the others had to leave for class, Kay Li had to leave for casting for a show...Philip he starts work at noon. So yea...Jack was the only one who was free for lunch, thus we went to Wisma UOA for lunch at the lower ground floor at Sri Emas restaurant. The food there was reasonably priced and drinks are ok too. Went to Subway right after that to get some of their all-time famous cookies. That was when Jack started posing again for some cool shots.
These are some of the dishes (well only quarter of what they have there) at Sri Emas. The food looks delicious and the price is very reasonable. Guaranteed...
Such a poser i am...hahaha...i was sweating, this is kind of famous place for ppl who work around semantan area at DH to have lunch at...Wisma UOA Sri Emas (Lower Ground Floor).
Jack just loves having his pictures taken...ever since we all go out with our cameras and all, he started to "pose" like a top model...
Now...can anyone guess what i'm thinking???

Xresh Xplorer 1st RoadTrip
(Blog Update For 6th March 2006)Xfresh Xplorer went for its first ever RoadTrip last monday the 6th of March @ Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur. It has never been revealed to the public before this...members of the media were invited to this auspicious event where artistes and Xfresh radio announcers were there to hype up the all day long event.
Jack & I came over to the event to support the rest o the team members who were there. Since it was the first event of its kind for a "bus"...well had class that morning at campus, went to HELP to pickup Jack and went to the event. Didn't stay for long...cause Jack has class at 4pm. We had lunch with Muiz at McD's BTS...since the rest of the team members decided to go to Sg.Wang instead of eating at times square.
So yea, we had McD's for lunch with Muiz...as he had to go on stage to hype up the crowd. We left at 3.45pm as Jack has class at 4pm...he got in 15 minutes late, i took the wrong road and all...
Right after that, i went to gym @ Menara Manulife RB (Fitness First)....Great day, had fun and exercise...whooo!!!

Here's the hatch that opens up to the stage which is on top of the bus. The hatch is not that big...so yea what happens if we need to have one of those really BIG artistes to go up on top and perform???

Deena turns 23...

It was Deena's birthday on the 29th February, unfortunately this year is not one of those year that has 29th february on it as it only falls every 4 years. Deena has been busy celebrating her birthday with family and others...so she took sunday off from all her other appointments just to be with us to celebrate her birthday.
We met up at Chili's 1Utama, had a very late lunch there as i was late for the lunch...well, we had late lunch and couldn't really finish it all up as we had unlimited free refills for the drinks there. Yes, at the end of the day...ended up drinking more juices than eating food. What a waste...
Right after that, we decided to go for a walk...passed by "Shell F1 Roadshow" at the ground floor of highstreet at 1Utama New Wing. I played one of the games...they asked me to name the song that is being played in the background as they have the sound of engine revving...so the mixture of the engine sound and song in the background makes it kinda hard to tell what song is being played. They gave me a list of 6 songs and told me to name the song that was being played at the time. It was so easy... being the guy in the music / entertainment and broadcast industry...i straightaway knew what song was it that was being played in the background.
Won a voucher for a relaxing foot massage, rejuvenating wet face towel and refreshing ice cold mineral water (hence the 3R's that Shell is trying to promote).
Right after that, one of the Shell promoters asked me to take part in one of their stage games that's about to take place at 6pm...it was a "commentating" game where I have to commentate the F1 race that is taking place on the plasma screen (it's a recorded race) so, they will give each contestant the script so we just have to talk and talk and talk...
Altogether, there were only 3 contestants including myself. The first contestant was quite ok la...but he didn't have that "DJ / MC kinda voice"...second contestant he was quite bad (hey, im being honest here...), and lastly it was my turn to commentate the race...whoa...every1 was so impressed (no, im not trying to boast or what here)...but yes, i've been emcee'ing 8TV's birthday bash, karnival sure heboh and other events too...got the mic, did a mic check and whoaa!!! I won RM 50 petrol voucher from Shell.
Great day, great rewards, great time spent with friends :)
