NORBIT - The Malaysian Grand Premiere
(Blog Update For 10th February 2007)NORBIT The Malaysian Grand Premiere was on the 10th of February 2007 which was last SATURDAY. Some 123 friends of mine had the chance to watch NORBIT before anyone else here in Malaysia and the rest of the world (except for the United States).
NORBIT premiere'ing on the 9th February (Friday) in the USA, NORBIT Malaysian Premiere (and For Media) on the 13th February - Releasing in Malaysian Cinemas on February 15th...SPECIAL The Malaysian Grand Premiere on the 10th February 2007 (last saturday - 6 days before the release here in Malaysia and worldwide) at GSC 1Utama.
Another great movie screening to be watched with your friends. How is it like to watch in a cinema hall whereby the whole entire place is only filled up with YOUR friends?
Well the experience was AWESOME and out of this world. I had the chance to organise this Malaysian Grand Premiere screening of NORBIT whereby i had the whole entire cinema to myself (GSC 1Utama Hall 3 - 300 Seats) whereby i invited 123 of my friends to join and watch the movie for FREE and way before it comes out here in Malaysia.
What a day...film...everything!!! The fact that 123 friends were there and there's only one host (that's me), i had to move from one group to another while waiting to enter the cinema hall. Experience was great, if you were the organiser you would be able to feel the HAPPINESS in all of these.
Anyways, not going to explain any further...you may be asking HOW THE H*** did Shaz got the whole entire cinema hall to himself for free and watch a movie way before its being release.! Right??? Well that's one big secret of the trade...connections :) is the key word.
Namelist of those of my friends who were there this day will be up soon...just that it's 3am here and i'm way too tired.

Seasons Greetings from Singapore
(Blog Update For 20th December 2006)T'was the last night that i will be in Singapore and i spent it on Orchard again before going to Clarke Quay later in the night to visit HOOTERS and all.
But hey, i made the trip worthwhile...visiting Orchard on this free Light Up Tour of the streets...Singapore Tourism Board really did plan it all out so well for tourists from A-Z to visit and enjoy their trip to Singapore. Making it a wholesome meal altogether like the Colonel's :P
The whole stretch of street "Orchard Road" was really awesome...lit with some of the best designs in lights for glitz n glam to make the street a magnificent place to take lotsa pictures!!!
There's this part of Orchard where the main attraction is that every half an hour...the streets traffic lights on all 4 junctions will be red simultaneously allowing pedestrians to cross sideways and all...and are allowed to lie down on the street and take pictures and all...basically you only have 60 seconds to do all these...so be fast and be alert!!! There were auxiliary police to take care of the traffic and pedestrians. This was way too cool!!!
Enjoy the pictures below, i really enjoyed my trip down to Singapore. Awesome trip i tell ya!!!
Paragon as always...lit up with some really cool deco's and a grand Xmas tree right outside.
Inside Atria is where you may find SG's first food republic food court where almost everything is fully designed to fit the "theme".
Shaw House...this is where u can find one of the very few "taco bells" restaurant / shoplots to eat American made taco's. :P
Free Night Tour bus for tourists to experience a 30 minute tour...
Emergency what...you must be kidding me!!!
This is the part where you are allowed to cross diagonally, sideways and across the street to different junctions for 60 minutes. Awesome innit!!! I saw some people lying down on the floor and taking a photo there :P
Met up with some of my friends there in Singapore...here's Shaun with his friend.
Choral singers singing...in front of Paragon shopping mall.
Zach, Shaun and their friend here on Orchard...working while everyone is there to shop for Xmas!!!
FNS Var & Nivose
(Blog Update For November 2006)This was wayyyy long time ago...forgotten to post these cool photos. I didnt have my S2 on the day, so was using this really crappy office camera...
Well, I was invited to go on board a French Navy Vessel called Var & Nivose. Can't really remember which is which but one of them is the one with the 5 docking ports to pump fuel onto empty vessels that are in the waters...as in those battle ships / cruisers in the sea. Of course la..so this ship here has all the supplies and what it does is that it travels all around to fill up empty tanks.
The other ship, is a recon ship...has a helicopter on board and that's about it. And of course all the canons and ground to air missiles n all that...well i'm kinda in a rush will post more photos later bout this trip :)
This is what the FRENCH GIGN would usually use...
The Panther helicopter stationed inside the ship.
That's me together with the heli...i'm so small compared to the rotor.
They can be quite funny too in here :P
Not forgetting the petrol cables...
What's a ship without its battle weapons / stations.
