Petronas Outreach

Long day, but it was more than worth it...the press conference for Petronas Outreach happened on the 42nd floor of the KLCC Twin Towers. It was a rather short PC, the press didn't make much comments as everything was really...straightforward.

The exciting part was to go through what the contestants of the Petronas Outreach program would have to go through, we visited the Galeri Petronas and Petrosains and this was a great experience.

Although i've been to these two places many times already, but it was all good coz i'm only there for the FOOD.

Lunch at the Malaysian Petroleum Club which is situated on the 41st floor of the KLCC Twin Towers. We had a lot to eat, but the choice was rather limited.

Petronas Outreach competition which is happening this 29th December onwards around the KLCC area which will end with the Outreach countdown concert at KLCC.

Great art work, no picture taking allowed in this gallery but hey thanks to Petronas the media are allowed to take as many pictures as they want. Posted by Picasa

My boss En. Ahmad Izham Omar - COO of 8TV together with Efie, looking at the exhibits on the wall. Something to do with ancient chinese history. Posted by Picasa

Another art exhibit at the Galeri Petronas in KLCC, normally u don't get to take pictures of the exhibits here, and WHOA...they allowed the media to do so. Posted by Picasa

Oh Christmas Tree...oh Christmas Tree...this is what Petronas calls "Christmas Tree" in any oil-rig. This is one of the most important element of the oil-rig facility that the contestants would have to find during their "expore race" Posted by Picasa

We were on the oil-rig in Petrosains, what is on display here is what Petronas is using in the field to rig oil from the sea-bed. Posted by Picasa

Now, this is 100% fresh orange juice and 100% fresh honey dew juice. How they do it is, they take at least 5 - 7 oranges per glass, chill the juice in fridge first b4 serving. once its time to serve, then add a couple of ice cubes.  Posted by Picasa
