FNS La Fayette [Frigate Class]

(Blog Update For 25th September 2006)

It was a monday and Jack, William, Rex and myself went out for an evening full of excitement where we got the chance to go onboard a French Stealth Battle Ship under the "Frigate" class named "FNS La Fayette" - Ship Code / Tail Name: FNS 710.

We were invited by the French Embassy of Kuala Lumpur to attend this auspicious event and it was really something different. It was actually a Cocktail Reception Party for selected VIP guests.

This update will come in either 2 or 3 chapters...stay tuned to find out more tonight!!! But for now i have to go out celebrate Deepavali...

To all my Indian friends celebrating, Happy Deepavali to all of you guys!!!

Are these necessary??? Well...i don't really have the answer to the above - nor do i have anything related to what i'm about to show you below...well enjoy the photos! :P

SOULed OUT vs BOULEVARD Hotel

(Blog Update For October 16 & 18)

It was quite an awesome 2 days of buffet's at a nice local fine dining restaurant and hotel. Went for SOULed OUT with Jack (Jack|SQ) and BOULEVARD Hotel with Scott (Sadomasochist). This was on two different days but hey, the experience was awesome.

Was at SOULed OUT with Jack & others @ the request of our client for a FREE buffet!!! Awesome innit!!! We whacked almost everything that we could find!!!

Was at BOULEVARD Hotel with Scott as i was invited personally to a fashion show (At first it didn't have anything to do with work) but then later on it became work as i started talking about work. Oh well was there with Scott as my client invited me and a friend to join the event.

Awesome nights on both occasions, got to experience some nice local and international delicacies.

Visiting Clients Has Never Been This Fun Before!!!

(Blog Update For Somewhere for End of September 2006)

Was out for my usual meeting with client together with Jack. It's some sort of a bi-weekly / monthly affair where we meet up with our clients (Well, mostly i take care half of the record labels and half of the movie distributors whereby Jack takes the other half - quite a fair share).

Let me share with you guys what do i really do at AMP Radio Networks (Xfresh Group). Well quite a lot of people don't realy know what's my job scope or what do i actually do for life. Part of it is all about promotions with clients doing features for website promotions and all. Some of the movie promo's you see on Xfresh is done by me or my colleague Dina...some upcoming ones are done by Jack.

Well my team consists of about 9 journalists and 1 consultant. Jack is our Consultant of which he mostly does what i do but only 40% of it and events planning and all. The others are such as Joshua foong (joshburped.tk) Kelvin Goh, Steven William, Muiz, Faraa and a few others are journalists who covers events, write stories - articles and all for the website. Cool huh!!!

As for recording labels...Jack managed to get the client to agree to his proposal of doing a promo for Red Hot Chili Peppers and Muse. Next ones after that that he's doing is My Chemical Romance and JED which are from Warner Music.

As for me i'm working on something bigger with other clients such as EP Hair Salon, MAC, Apple Malaysia, and i also do music promo's such as Breaking Benjamin and Jesse McCartney by EMI Music. Not forgetting movie promo's like with UIP and Buena Vista Columbia Tristar Movies.

Believe it or not we're working hard here to get all the best promo's up on Xfresh from time to time ensuring a great and pleasant visit by each and everyone of you.

One of the new instructor at Fitness First for Body Jam class i believe. This was taken at the GX Launch at IOI Mall in Puchong. He told us that he's a shadow which means he helps the instructor or sometihng like that.

Was at Mid-Valley after meeting up with clients and Ben was there...so talked for a bit before i went up to meet-up with Jen and the rest for Jen's Bday movie!!!

I was having severe cough - sore throat...so Jack recommended me to take the Fu-Cha, and so i did...

Undecided where to go...so we all stood here and didn't know what to do!! Mwhahah :P

Break Fast @ Bangsar

(Blog Update For 27th September 2006)

Was out of the office at 4.30pm on this day (well that's the official time that we get out of the office during fasting month) so ya...headed out to pick up Jack, Scott and Paul for breakfast session at Bangsar Baru where we had Banana Leaf Rice and some really nice main dishes together with it.

Ok, this wasn't planned at all...why would any one want to go on this i-Gallop anyways?

Now, that is not PLANNED at all!!! So embarrassedd now :P

Its time to break fast and everyone started to eat and eat and eat...!!!

Was at Oldtown Kopitiam for supper - met up with Felicia my former classmate at LUCT.

Paul Levine enjoying his half boiled eggs at Oldtown Kopitiam - it is said that they have the best half boiled egg in town!

This was at MidValley - was meeting up with MidValley PR person for a promo to be done...but then while on the way met up with Davina first. whee!!!

Right after work that day - meeting up with clients and all...we went for Body Pump class and end the day with a really nice buffet at Ikea.

Jack simply loves the nasi pilau here at Ikea. yummy!!!

Oops - Davina Goh once again is here...whee!!! Actually she was my former colleague here at at Xfresh and she's now turned out to be quite a successful lady :)

Thanks to Jack for preparing such an Ice-Cream! :P

The chocolate cake here is simply delicious!!!

Hi-Tea with Paula Malai Ali

(Blog Update For 25th September 2006)

My dear friend Alice George invited us for a hi-tea session with Paula Malai Ali...of course it wasn't just Hi-Tea with her...but of course a short interview session whereby my colleague Rex was there to interview Paula on her new interesting deal with Star Sports and her new TV show. Previously she was from another channel but now she's here...??

Whoa...that's a good jump and great move! It was Jack, Rex and Myself who were there this afternoon at Hotel Nikko where Paula Malai Ali and Alice George were waiting for us by the poolside.

Paula is such a great person to talk to...she has a very good personality, so down to earth. She's not like any other celebrities you know. Well if you happen to see her...do talk to her like how you talk to your friends.

Meet Paula Malai Ali's friends - haha...i really don't know what to say for this picture. We were so dressed up for the occasion...but too much coz we were going to attend a cocktail reception party at night later on.
