Louis Vuitton Latest Outlet in S.E.A
(Blog Update For The Great LV September 2006)Was at Starhill Gallery with
Jack. He already took photos of LV in the afternoon when it was crowded and all and the sight of LV in bright light isn't as great as at night of which the light density is not as good as at night...we decided to come to starhill again at night (after dinner at Hartz Chicken Buffet at Times Square) to take night shots of the newest Louis Vuitton outlet in Malaysia that's replacing the double-decker outlet in Starhill Gallery.
LVMH Malaysia - Louis Vuitton opened its newest outlet here at Starhill Gallery facade making Starhill another popular tourist destination. LV as it's known worldwide is "THE" brand for the upperclass ladies in town and those with great taste.
The name says it all...you mention LV to anyone out there...they should know what you're talking about...!!! heheh...anyways i'm not gonna type out a whole long paragraph here - if you wanna find out more info bout LV and read more please do visit
Jack's Blog at http://jacksquare.blogspot.comThe newest LV in South East Asia...lies at the facade of Starhill Gallery.
Louis Vuitton - i still remember the one at the bottom of the road at Avenue des Champs Elyses in Paris. Its so GRAND!!! I think this pic was taken by Jack...not sure!
Inside shot of LV from Starhill Gallery - taken by Jack.
So stoned standing in front of the panel...we were afraid that someone might catch us taking photos...coz they don't actually allow people taking photos here ma...
Some of the LV products on display in the inside. Great curvature :P
LV's bag are really of great quality and all...but its very expensive for the pocket.
Nicely stacked with back-ground lightings for specific products that are on display...really elegant i'd say...
LV in black & white...meant for old people?? Nahh.. its meant for all lovely people around us!! hehe...errr
Yes, like this dude here...eh that's JACK! LOL...
A shot of Starhill Gallery from the top...looking downwards...
CIMB Group - bought over some banks and now building up its branches all over, one of the banks that they bought over was BCB. Soon you'll be able to find CIMB ATM machine's...
Van Clef and Apple or sumthin...err i forgot! New retail outlet opening soon...and they're great at makin such a spot for passers-by to take photos!
French company that sells its own watches...really expensive stuffs!!!
Mr NG..how are you? Eh...notice the OPEN NG ... without the I in the middle :P So Mr Jack how's ur experience with Mondial!
Was walkin around on Jln. Bukit Bintang...found a spot to take random shots of passers-by.
This photo was taken by Jack...look at the slow shutter speed and the picture that we got by doing so...
This picture was taken by Jack...look at the reflection on the road - puddle of water there that has reflection of the billboard up on the building. Great FX and picture taken Mr. Jack.
Picture taken by Jack, but i actually played around with the color saturation for this photo changing the shades of some of the subjects in this picture.
The newest automatic street toilet in town is now situated on Jln. Bukit Bintang - something new for us Malaysians but it has been long operated in other western countries. Seriously...those out there in Europe looks 10 times much better than this one that we have here.
It's called the "Automatic Street Toilet" - in france they simply call it "WC ".
Some of the buttons or should i say displays with back-light on it prompting users to not do the following mentioned.
The automatic door of the toilet that will OPEN once you put a sum of RM1 into the machine's slot and will open itself automatically in 15 minutes...no matter if you have finished or haven't finished doing your thang!!!
Notice the difference in these two images...the part where the guy is sitting on the toilet bowl and the next one is ermm how to say... u're standing on it or something.
Well this means that the 2 automatic street toilet has 2 different bowls made available. So if you can't do ur stuffs one way or the other - you'll simply have to wait for the other person to finish...queue up and all :P
Funny isn't...tarikh siap is 18th of June 2007...what???? it takes a year to finish 1 toilet??? Ok...the toilet is actually ready to use but havent been officiated formally yet by DBKL i guess...I believe the 1yr period is for all the GBH automatic toilets to be finished...
Nacho Libre Movie with Friends & Family
(Blog Update For 5th September 2006)I turned 23 this year on the 23rd of July and I celebrated my birthday 23 times (from 23rd July - 23rd August 2006) and so i invited 23 friends and family members (cousins, auntie, uncle) to join me for this exciting movie outing at MidValley to watch Nacho Libre.
I believe i have never mixed my family members and my friends together for an outing before and even if i did go out with my family members for holiday or what...id never post their photos up, and only post scenic photos like my cousin n i went to Penang...
We all met up here at "The Chicken Rice Shop" (TCRS for short). Meeting up time was at 7pm, but slowly everyone came due to the BIG BIG TRAFFIC JAM on the day (as it was raining earlier)...
Well i guess i just broke my first rule of thumb...it's been my habit not to mix'em together but today was just a special day. Oh well...it doesn't hurt right to bring your uncle, aunty, cousins for a movie with friends. Anyways - don't want to stall... here are the photos.
First of all, thanks to "The Chicken Rice Shop" for accomdating about 20 of us this evening, by making a looooong table for us and we had a blast there eating chicken rice, butter chicken and etc...
Secondly thanks for everyone for making it. It was an honour...although i did have 6 more tickets extra those were for other friends who couldn't make it on this day...
Jasiminne, Paul Levine and Mikel having dinner here at TCRS.
Nat, Bryan and myself here at TCRS having dinner...apparently Bryan was still hungry and decided to eat some off my plate :P
We were right in front of GSC MidValley...and was stucked... meheheh...
Before the movie...we were all worst than a "Rombongan Sekolah Sambil Belajar"...seriously! It was so hard to bring everyone together up to the 3rd floor.
Talking about having 23 people joining for a movie...not every1 can fit in the elevator...so the rest took the escalator instaed :P
My cousins and me...from left: John, Me, Adrian and Affeezzy. I still remember that time when both my family and fizzy'z family we all went up to Port Dickson for a grand holiday - had so much fun! And oh yea...in Penang with John at a big big family reunion that unites about 200 of us and that was only like half of the family. Or should i say not even quarter...
As usual...a shot must be taken with all the attendees...but not every1 was here...some went off to toilet and didn't include my uncles n aunties la...
We ajourned for supper at SS2 Murni...supposed to have a few more ppl here but they were stuck up at MV Parking Lot.
It's been so long since i last seen my cousin John...and decided to give him a makeover that day at the hair saloon in Taman Desa as his birthday present.
Jack and his Roti Goreng...amazing...!!! Never knew that u can goreng the roti canai :P
This was tea-time at HP Towers...Lan Maju Corner where we had our first Roti Goreng (which looks like Mee Goreng).
Roti Milo...first time i came across this...and it was kind of ok la...
Kirksman is in TOWN!!!
(Blog Update For 1st September 2006)It was a great fine day...saw Kel Li and Nat at 1Utama on this day...but that was just pure coincidence as Jack and I were on the way to 1Utama...well in 1Utama itself to find Kirksman (our friend) who's from Malacca came down here for a short 1 day trip up north to SHOP with his friends!!!
So we met up with Kirksman and yes his name is REALLY Kirksman :P Many people don't believe it...but hey its written on his I/C. Anyways...Delifrance got this student privilege meal at rm6.90 or was it 7.90 if im not mistaken. It comes with a choice of either a spaghetti bolognese or croissan tuna sandwich, 1 freshly brewed rootbeer and 1 ice-cream dessert. Try it now...
If you're not a student...you can always try the tea time buffet - all you can eat bread stuffs there like "Pain Au Chocolat, Croissant, Cheese Sticks" and much more (excluding pastries with fruits if im not mistaken) at only less than 10 bux if im not mistaken.
This is Kirksman, he's from Malacca - and he's from the descendant of the Baba & Nyonya!
Yes Kirksman can really speak the malay language really well...ada UMPHH!!!
The last time i had a croissant tuna sandwich from Delifrance was in 2001 i think...or was it 2000...and some1 didn't even wanna share it with me. :P
Shared this with Jack...ahha... yes they give the main course size for the spaghetti and its nice. But kinda not that fresh as those prepared at high end restaurants.
He's eating his Croissant Tuna Sandwich on his own...wahh!!! I want some :(
After a nice meal...we had desserts that came together with the set for students privilege meal.
Jack took a pic of this...GAP is opening soon in 1Utama...and same in MV aswell...
Honda...wow...I know one of the girls in here personally...her name is Jessica, my friend's sister...
Jessica is her name...and we've known each other since 2002 if im not mistaken or maybe a lil' bit earlier than that :P
Last but not least...met up with Ing Yeen my classmate for Advertising Class back at LimKokWing.
