Light it UP y'all!!! [PUTRAJAYA]

(Blog Update For More Lights in Putrajaya than it already is...)

Behold...the following pictures below was the coolest creation done with the help of Jon, DK and Me!!! Thanks guys for this wonderful creation!!!

Simple and easy... this technique was found by accident a week back when i was at Rasta for supper with Jon, William, Frances and a few other friends. We were just playing around with shutter speeds and light! Oooh... then we found out that we can make a lightsaber out of it! Or more like it was Jon's idea... but hey!!!

This night, at Putrajaya, we decided to use Daniel's sort of torchlight that came with his SE phone... how did we do this?

1. Place your camera on a tripod (turn the dial to Shutter Priority or Manual Mode). Ensure the shutter speed is long enough (i.e: 8seconds, 12seconds, 15seconds depending on how much time you need to draw what you want to draw).

2. Compose your shot...frame it up! Ensure enough space for you to stand in front of the camera...(not too close, not too far away).

3. Use some kind of light emitting device (i.e.: torchlight, phone light) and set your camera on a 2 second timer.

4. Once the timer goes off, and the picture is currently being taken - switch on ur light (or let the light be on but cover the light with your hand and only reveal the source of light when you want to draw your picture / trail).

5. You may draw whatever you want... just ensure that you cover the light where you want it to be dimmed or not appear in your photo... get out of the frame as fast as you can and ensure there's no other sources of light nearby you.

And you'll get pictures such as this...(this is a bit blurry because i didn't place it under the 2 second timer).

Be CREATIVE! This is Jon drawing the outline of himself... or you can trick your friends and tell them that you saw a ghost! mwhahahaha...

Or you can be creative and not edit the photo at all and make this picture and give it as a gift? Share this technique with your friends, do it...change it! Innovate!!! :)

Putrajaya...the story!

(Blog Update For 5th Jan 2008)

It was a Saturday...when i asked a couple of friends to go for an outing to Putrajaya. Lots couldn't make it but there was 12 of us in the end. The name list goes as follows: Mikel, Jon, Patrick, Daniel, Eman, Kinz, Arthur, William, Chewey, Zach, Aaron and Myself... that's 12!!! woohoo..

It was one of those random things that i organised... very last minute indeed!!! Well i did plan it out in advance but time was a big factor for me as many weren't able to confirm in advance due to hectic weekend coming.

Those who couldnt make it such as Jack, Sandra and many others... you guys missed out on a very cool outing! It was a BLAST! learnt so much from one another and getting to know each other!

Many people has been asking me about one of the pictures that was uploaded here, the picture of the Putrajaya mosque with Lights all over it! How to do that pic? This (not to say creation or invention), well was done by Jon, Daniel and myself... whereby we experimented on long shutter speed and different ways of taking photos and not just the usual point at subject and shoot.

Will upload a cool tutorial or way on how to do the above with one of our trademarked shot coming up real soon!!! Tonight :) Embrace yourself because you may want to do the same thing! It's FUNNNN...

The glory of Putrajaya and the botanical garden in KL, well u don't have to go to botanical garden.. u can enjoy its splendour (part of it) here in Putrajaya!!! Nice flowers they have!

Do you ever feel lonely when you're left alone? This tripod feels lonely without the camera! Mwhahahahaha..

The greens here is greener than the ones in KL... i wonder why!

Reflections in the water... would be good if there's some droplets of rain that could alter the reflection a bit!

We are crazy enough to go in the middle of the streets and take pictures!

That's al of us! Thanks to the invention of tripod and monopods! We were all able to be in the picture! But juz in case there was a guy with a gun there... and were to take all our equipments!!! he'd be so happy until he's in his grave! Mwahahah

The souq at Putrajaya has alot to offer from San Francisco Coffee to Nando's...

The mosque lit by the sunset here in Putrajaya... they offer kayak and canoe services too!

Way overdue updates...chillin la!!!

Putrajaya photos update would be up real soon, i know... i really don't want to delay and prolong further... but i am too tired (like every other night) to prepare the pictures for the updates and all so am just going to do with what i have.

Furthermore, if i don't update these photos below...perhaps it'd be too late when i get to come around to it! So, for now enjoy the updates below and we shall update Putrajaya pics for the next blog update!

Amazed at Malaysia having such structures? Well i am!!! Be proud of our nation...be proud of ourselves!!!

It's me...!!! together with the Digi yellow guy... "I will follow you..." hehe yea right!!! i got Maxis FULL bar weiiii!!!

We were at Times Square KL bowling alley... it was the monthly Media Hiburan bowling tournament with artist / celebrities...so then between the 2 of us, there's Dafi, Elyana and other Xfresh FM announcers!

A nice place to chill out but its kinda expensive!!! Mwahhah...

There were 6 of us for this movie of "Alvin and the Chipmunks" here today at Cineleisure The Curve!!!

I guess you've seen so many different kind of faces and this is one of the many different ones! The face done by Dave Seville!!! AAAAALLLVVINNNN... err!

Had lunch with Jack at PBD... we had lunch at KFC as it's one of the nearest ones and no need to find parking and all!

That's me and trust me this XXXL burger is very big but not that filling...Mwhahahha!!

On a different day... had lunch with Jack, Kuok and Darre here at PBD Pizza Hut! Kuok just came back from the states!!!

Guess what... having Pizza Hut twice in a week really suxx!!

Kuok looks the same as always!!! HEhe Darrel still is the best swimmer i believe..

This picture was taken in the Xfresh Studio. This is how the console looks like from near. Its touch screen and easy to panel!

Oh ya... not forgetting the meetup with William's schoolmate at Kopi Bar! Another blogger as well... Daniel his name is aka DK!

CHILLINNN @ Putrajaya [teaser]

It was a nice saturday afternoon and I went for lunch with Jon and Daniel at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. We had PastaMania... but way before that we made our pit stops at Ampang Park and Pudu Plaza to find some lenses... and chillin la!

Yep, you may have thought about this... yes the keyword here today is Chilling!!! Anyways chillin la... this blog update is very fast and simple as i don't have much time... so yea just teasing the upcoming update about the Putrajaya trip with 11 of my friends and i shall talk about the lunch at PastaMania first.

Happy Belated Birthday to Jon!!! It's the 5th of January and its 1 month after his birthday! I decided to celebrate his b'day with a simple lunch here on the 5th of January instead because its exactly 1 month after instead of on the same week of his bday... Particularly because i believe in celebrating our bdays for the next 30 days till its 1month overdue :P Decided to treat the birthday boy to lunch at PastaMania at Pavilion... so lunch was all good!!! Anyways Happy Birthday Jon and hope you get what you wanted!!!

Jon, DK and I were walking on Jalan Ampang and was about to cross over to Ampang Park! Till we found this nice blue sky...

DK ordered Meatballs here at PastaMania... not too sure what's so good about it tho!

Why i call this the weird bunch is because apparently we took pictures of one another in the middle of the streets and with weird poses that causes motorists to slow down to watch our parade!!!

Imagine 12 guys with 12 DSLR's pointing at one subject... Mwhahaha!!! The locals here at Putrajaya was feeling abit...
