Ming Tien a.k.a.. "tomorrow..."
(Blog Update For Good Food, Great Prices)Ming Tien in Taman Megah, a famous food court for many people who are living in this side of town...including me who lives all the way on the other side...
Although many of the food stalls here are non-halal, but there's one that is confirmed Halal which is this "Crispy Millenium Chicken Rice" - don't believe me? Checkout the Halal Cert at the counter. Anyways, whenever i come over here...i always order the same thing over and over again. It's so nice that i just don't feel like leaving the place no more. Selling at RM4.50 per plate, it's worth it!
Of proportionate portion, the chicken is crispy...better than KFC!
Look at how the egg is...it's really nice and very white-ish!
This was what Jack ordered, not really sure what it is tho...
Jushi: Japanese Meal
(Blog Update For January 2007)Had dinner at Jushi together with a bunch of friends here at Plaza Damas. Namely, Joann, Stacy, Sylvia, Sammie, Mikel and Jack. We had dinner here right after the cooking session at Sammie's weekend retreat.
What i can say about this place is that the service can be slow at times and its kinda hard to get the attention of the waiters for service. Sammie found a string of hair in her dish...well of course she got a new replaced meal but they should've just scrapped our bill (for the whole table) - yes this is what they do in western countries. I guess we're not western enough coz we're on the east side :P
Establishing shot of the restaurant...Jack was so eager to take a picture of this prior to enterting the restaurant.
I was so hungry that i just had to order this plate of 2 Salmon Sushi...
The Ice Lemon Tea here is sort of authentic but not as nice as the one from DOME.
This is the complete sake sushi...what's the difference anyways?
What's the point of using chopsticks when you have your fingers to work with :P
Fresh juices made on the spot for customers like Mikel who ordered this drink.
I love salmon and forever i shall order salmon...
Jack and I ordered this herbal tea for a change...and i simply found it different! But Jack on the other hand found it nice and healthy!
What...Jushi wasn't enough and we had to go to A&W for waffle...hahaha!!! We all did...we hungry people :P - sorry other pics not nice.
I love A&W Root Beer especially their original Onion Rings!!!
Happy Birthday Ringo
(Blog Update For 1st April 2007)
Ringo Tan aka... Cheesie aka... my collegemate aka...my classmate aka... my angel!!! Happy 23rd Birthday, i'm glad that i got the chance to celebrate it this year with you despited the many years we were together at Uni - hard working, studying and striving to excel in each of our subjects here at LimKokWing University.
Alas...we are the graduates of LimKokWing University / Curtin University of Technology @ Perth Class of 2006. Graduated side by side...both of us felt that the moment of graduation passed by so fast and the time that we had with one another at uni was so short compared to the time i spent reading books on my own.
Congratulations to the Class of 2006 @ LUCT / CUT - Happy 23rd Birthday to Ringo Tan!
Happy Birthday Ringo... from your lovin' `elmo..

(Blog Update For...dunno when...)
Well here it is, the continuation - part 2 of this update. Wait for part three where we went for JAPANESE dinner..AGAIN?? Oh my...!!! The main thing about this cooking session is to find out ways in how to make the most out of the cheapest thing in town and make it into a wholesome meal. So i guess we've achieved that! Before this i never knew how to make that Tau Fu thing...but with the help of Zura, everything is possible!
This is a bit oily but it was ok...stuffed with egg, vegetables and etc...
Let's start pouring some porridge over to each other...
Enjoying lunch here at Sammie's weekend retreat...the food is simply delicious!
Oily, but with the right method and all..you can have this dried up!
JackSquare standing in front of his own "Pintu Gerbang".
Zura and Sylvia...watchout for that video camera - its actually recording the photographer!
My hands was occupied with my phone and phones and more phones! Jo, plz feed me!
Last but not least, we were just downstairs at Plaza Damas Shopping Center where Jack found this square place :P The expression on his face is priceless! a model...nonetheless...
Let's Cook-a-Cook!!
(Blog Update For Sometime Long Long Time Ago)Knock-knock...who's there? Here we found Sammie opening the door to her luxurious studio condo here in Hartamas. A spacious suite that caters to her needs as a "retreat" on a weekend.
A bunch of us namely: Jack, Stacy, Sylvia, Jo, Andrew & Zura were here to have a nice simple budget lunch on a nice sunday with one another.
How'z the food? (Jo asked both Jack and I)...we were astonished by what Zura can do with Maggi Noodles - making it better than what it used to be before. This really opened our eyes on what these cheap food can be for you at times like this. Zura has totally changed the outlook and the perception of Maggi noodles to us as you can see from the pictures below it is filled with vibrant colors from the garden and awesome taste.
Thanks to Zura for cooking us lunch, thanks to all the helpers, chefs and etc on this day and making this such a great sunday with one another.
We took a small group photo here on Sammie's desk...this picture reminds me of the TV series "Friends"...
Zura stir frying the ingredients, ensuring that everything is cooked before she puts in the rest of the ingredients.
Here's the output...what you get out of a Maggi Noodle mee...ingredients to this recipe...(top secret).
Helping out with the cooking session...since when Men don't make great cooks? you tell me.. mwahah!!!
Cameronian tomatoes or local ones? Which would you take for a bite?
Chef Jack, the newest chef in town helping out to cook whilst Zura take a break and have her lunch!
Ahh...i caught andrew eating first way before any of us did!!!
