Buena Vista Columbia Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Movie distributor Buena Vista Columbia TriStar Films (M) Sdn. Bhd. just celebrated its 10th Year Anniversary. Remember those great films that you love to watch at the cinemas...such as Deja Vu, Talladega Nights, Open Season and so much more...and not forgetting Casino Royale.

Well, They've just celebrated their 10th year anniversary and let's hope that there's many more years to come for this great company that brings great movies into Malaysia.

William, Jack and Myself were invited to the party together with us were team members from our Marketing Team Orange, Mei and Dina. Right after the celebration we watched Deja Vu...this was a WORLD PREMIERE. Security was very tight as we were the first few to watch it in the cinemas. This was like 10 days before it came out in the cinema...around the globe. The rights were given specially for this occasion to celebrate BVC's 10th Anniversary. Kudos to my friends from CTS.

The Ladies team from BVC celebrating their 10th year anniversary...cutting a cake...

Had to turn in our cell phones to the security people as no camera phones were allowed into the cinema.

Just before the movie started...we took this opportunity to take a group photo of the crew members who were present this night!

Jack and his Angels from Malacca :P heheheh...

Was at Kluang Station for Lunch...while collecting prizes from a client.

My lunch from Kluang Station - Nasi Lemak...i prefer the one from Oldtown better.

Nick Visits Malaysia

My former schoolmate / ex classmate back in secondary school from the British School of Paris came over for a short visit here to Kuala Lumpur a few weeks back.

It was much of a surprise as i didn't expect him to come down anytime soon. Anyways - he was here just for a short trip and we did quite a lot in just half a day.

The last time i saw this guy was back in 1998 when he left for South Africa - Cape Town to further his studies there due to the nature of his parent's work. So yea...being in an International / British School...every three years we have to see our friends moving in and out of the school transferring to another country. That's what happens most of the time. But for some who gets to stay in town for longer may just stay too long to realise that much has happened.

We visited LimKokWing University, told him this was the place where i studied prior to my graduation last July.

We were at 1Utama having very late hi-tea with Paul Levine here. Nick got a taste of Malaysian food...

We were at Putrajaya - what a foggy picture. No it was bright and clear on the day, but my car was too cold in the inside and condensation just made my lens all fogged up!

Lovely isn't? The sight of Putrajaya...

Dinner at Oldtown Kopitiam - in One Utama. We had a little bit of stuffs to bite here and there. Nasi Lemak, Toast and etc...

Last but not least....a visit to my workplace - Astro...Here's the West Entrancewhere we keep 5 of our broadcast satellites.

Yahoo Movies Malaysia!!!

Well, what do you know...This is a very backdated post. Jack and I were invited to the Official Launching and Cocktail Reception party for the Grand Premiere of Casino Royale and Yahoo Malaysia Movies platform launching here at TGV KLCC.

The event was quite exclusive because only a certain number of the members of the media were invited and since its free seating they didn't fill up the entire hall so as to give ample space for everyone to move around and choose their best seats.

The food at the event was catered by Strudels - some stuffs here we don't normally see it at Strudel's outlets.

A poster that was pasted onto the wall and it gleams in the dark! - no la :P Got light bulb under it :P

Strudels Cream Puffs - not up to my likings, i prefer BEARD PAPA's puff's better at MV.

Some other type of desserts they have here...

And guess what...there's a new DJ in town! and he's here comin' to rock wit y'all!!! Wait for my next update to find out who he is!

Had dinner at Chili's - had a burger of which i think we could have just cut it into two pieces and share. The portion was quite big!

Allison's Birthday party here at her residence in KLANG! Hear that Allison, i came all the way to Klang in traffic jam for you :P ehhehe.. no la! Happy birthdayyyyy

Ahh...what a random food pic - this was from Mikel's birthday! Happy Birthday Mikel. Sorry i dont have any of the photos here. So yea...hafta wait!

Last but not least...group photo at Allison's 21st Birthday celebration.

Acuvue Define - Defines Your Eyes!!!

(Blog Update For 16th November 2006)

The final chapter to the launching of Acuvue Define @ 7atenin9.
As I mentioned earlier, the setting was great, the theme is blue - it was PERFECT. What else can be done? Perhaps more food...

We were offered free Contact Lenses - Acuvue Define, i tried it myself and i really felt that my eyes are more defined! Wanna know more...log on to Xfresh.com to read more about it!

The most famous French butter there is - "Presiident".

Grilled lamb, the portion was big and the gravy is tasty.

Desserts with fresh fruits oven grilled.

Food Stylists must have done this for them...Food stylists are the people behind all these great dressings and ways in presenting food.

Jone of RantauPR together with Jack. She offered us FREE Acuvue Define Contact Lenses.

The lovely Soong Ai Ling together with me, her eyes are just GORGEOUS!!!

Was using the K618i phone for a while, but didnt like it as much so i changed to the Motorola KRZR. Of which ladies and germs...the KRZR for me its just a waste of money - buying it for the style and the looks. Very hard to SMS on the keypad and all.

7atenin9 food is great!!!

(Blog Update For 16th November 2006)

Now, what's an event without food? Before we can even get to the food...of course there will be a whole lot of people interviewing the ambassador / spokesperson and muhc more.

In this case, our colleagues from 8TV interviewed Soong Ai Ling, wow what a beauty she is! Not forgetting our friends from Rantau PR. We had a great time with them...

The food was served to us at the table, so we only had the chance to only get 1 serving per item so yea...can't be so greedy this time around :P The food was great, i believe the Lunch Unlimited forFriday's at 7atenin9 is far much better.

Jack Square together with Ai Ling.

Me together with Julia of RantauPR.

Look at the freshness of the salmon...

Cod Fish with special sauces, main dish... This fish is so fresh and tastes so good. I've never liked fish this much before.

Dessert served at the end of the course meal.

Salmon as the appetizer....so are we suppose to eat it with the bread or without it?
