Jack|SQ Finally Turns 19
(Blog Update For 16th April 2006)This update is really way too backdated, but i MUST put this up...been trying to find the right time to put it up coz i want it to be online for more than just a day or two...for y'all to see!!!
Well, now is the right time i guess, coz in the next few days i'll be busy with work, college assignments and the X-Games event coverage.
Jack finally turns 19 on the 17th of April but we celebrated it 1 day earlier with him. We as in a whole bunch of his close friends, school mates, collegemates, workmates and other friends from other walks of life...
Yes, everyone was there - even Asyraf Lee (www.asyraflee.blogspot.com a professional photographer) - one of our friends was there to take photos for Jack's bday (yes Asyraf knows Jack too). Dinesh was there, he was so kind to help out with Video taking of the whole event (yep, we recorded it on a 3CCD DV Camera with broadcast quality...not one of those small little DV's ya know...this is a big one used for TV broadcast.
(Credit goes to Asyraf & Andy for D70s SLR pics, and Albert for Canon S2 IS Pics)
Supposed to have 30 of Jack's friends attending the "Surprise Birthday Party" for Jack, but only 26 managed to attend...and best part was it was still a surprise, none of it leaked out...at first we were suppose to get 40 of Jack's friends to attend, well 14 of them couldn't make it but yah...my dream was to have at least 50 - 70 or even 100 of Jack's friends to attend the Surprise Birthday Party.
The story was, I told him that...our General Manager is sending both Me & Jack to a seminar on New Media Content Strategy at Great Eastern Mall happening on sunday the 16th at 3pm...he was a bit suspicious at first but made up a story about the GM wants to meet up with us at the office first on sunday afternoon for a briefing. He took that in and set lah...everything went on as planned.
The event was a success!!! It looked quite like a media event with 2 photographers on Digital SLR's + 1 Video man on a 3CCD Broadcast Camera and a whole bunch of friends who were there for Jack.
Thank you very much y'all for coming...it was kinda hard on my part as i had to contact his HELP college mates and all...but it went smoothly!!! Good to have Asyraf, Andy, and Albert (the Triple A's TEAM) for taking photos that day, thanks guys...otherwise i'd be behind the camera taking pictures again...and will forever never be in the picture.
Happy Birthday Bro...!!! :-)
