Birthday Celebration at Jogoya - Starhill

(Blog Update For 23rd July 2006)

It's been over 2 months that i celebrated my 23rd birthday on the 23rd of July with 23 birthday celebration and 23 friends & family at the movie screening of Nacho Libre. What a cool number!!!

A lot of my friends been asking me to repost my blog update about my birthday celebration at Jogoya @ Starhill Gallery as they couldn't access my archives and all to see the lovely food pics from Jogoya...and some saw on Jack|SQ's blog well they want more photos of where that came from.

Thanks Jack for the really cool birthday present!!! Thanks bro, really appreciate it!!! Hope you like the meal at Jogoya!! Mwahha...

So yea...here's a re-post (back to memory lane) of my birthday celebration at Jogoya of which many of my friends whom i invited (well only a selected few) couldn't make it to the dinner.

All the raw stuffs...but fear NOT, coz most of 'em here has been steamed prior to the dinner time.

Thanks Jack for arranging everything with the Jogoya staffs.

Thanks once again!!! This was my 2nd b'day present for this year...of course 1st was from my family (As usual i don't put up family photos online, cousins and etc...). Cheers - see y'all soon...as i'll be updating my B'day celebration at TGI Friday's The Curve with fellow bloggers (Ivan, Bryan, Slinky, Jasiminne, Asyraf Lee) and other close friends (Ziyad, Deena, Fariz, Maman).

It was an awesome night, a dinner to be remembered as great friends celebrate a great birthday celebration. Its not about how many friends who were there, its about who was there to celebrate these great moments.

Although some or many would just perceive it as a birthday celebration, for others its still a big big bday celebration. Oh well, thanks to Jack especially for making it and for arranging everything with the Jogoya staffs to make my bday celebration GREAT!!! (for the bday song, wishes through PA system and the cake)!!!

I love mussels and i can finish em in any state that they're in. Well now is not one of 'em...hehehe

If you can't take too much of raw stuffs...there's always the option to eat Indian cuisine here at no extra charge.

Jack loves eating salmon, and he had to order this fish head. Wahh!!! I didn't know you can eat fish head...hehehe!!

Tempura prawns has been ever so expensive elsewhere, especially Sushi King and Genki Sushi. But these were not just like any other tempura...they were GREAT.

I love oysters, cold prawns like these are so easy to eat.

Wow, Jack did all the nitty gritty stuffs by going around asking the Jogoya staffs if they do B'day surprises and they did...they announced my name on the PA system announcing the bday and they gave me a CAKE!!!

The Chocolate Mousse Cake, i'd say was the highlight of the day. Felt like eating "Le Notre" cake back from France.

Seafood pasta has always been a PLUS point for Chinoz on the Park here at KLCC. But now we're eating at Starhill Gallery's Jogoya. Tastes GOOD too!!!

A vegetable soup that comes with a large crab. Its nice and simple - but the taste is always there.

Tiramisu cakes are just awesome, i love this chocolate tiramisu. It's so rich and creamy...

I just love sorbets, especially when they're from Movenpick.

If you love eating LA-LA...you'll love this. The design and presentation is one of its kind.

There's more than just Japanese food you can eat here. There's always local, Indian and much more...

Now, all ice-cream lovers would know that Movenpick of Switzerland is very EXPENSIVE here in Malaysia and it costs RM10 per scoop @ Marche - Curve if im not mistaken. I had 6 scoops.

Now, who says that Birthdays are not the same when celebrated here at Jogoya.

My first b'day cake for this year...and it came complimentary from Jogoya @ Starhill Gallery.

Movenpick of Switzerland is rich and creamy. Tastes far much better when your stomach is empty.

If you love mussels and oysters then this is 'THE' place to be.

Fresh Sushi's available all day long. Made right in front of you by the counter and served FRESH.

This is where you can take your oysters, salmon and much more.
