Trip to LCCT Air Terminal!!!
(Blog Update For New Year 2007)It is a very low cost carrier terminal indeed...yep and i insist on the word "LOW COST". If you were there for yourself, you can really have a look at the structure of this airport and its facilities. No wonder they can get this place up and running in no time. It's just a matter of putting a few zinc elements together and put a nice big tv :P
Anyways, the LCCT terminal is just next to KLIA, but somehow to reach to the LCCT terminal it takes you another 20 or 30 minutes to reach the place as you have to make one whole big round and there's no direct route unless you were to go across the runaways at KLIA :P mwahhah...
Went to LCCT with one of Malaysia's Airport enthusiast :P haha...none other than Jack! He loves being in airports and all but i could tell from his face expression when we got there to LCCT he was so disapointed. It was our first time to be here at LCCT and we were so disapointed with the services, facilities, the structure and everything else about this airport. OMG...anyways why can't they just run both low cost carrier inside KLIA? Is there not enough place?
This is the front facade of the LCCT air terminal - look at how cheapo the structure is! (Picture taken by Jack|SQ - sorry for the wrong edit on caption).
Ok, here's pics of some fooooooddd!!!
Check-in counter here is so cheapo!!! Well no wonder it's called low-cost!!!
Ok this award was given in 2005 awarded by one of the Airport thingy majiggy...forgotten what it's called!
This is the LCCT air terminal...the floor kinda reminds me of jusco!
Here you can see the planes from near!!!
Malaysians simply don't understand the meaning of No Parking and No Waiting!
At least here we have Coffee Bean and Wi-Fi access!!!
Look at all the NS trainees going to sabah / sarawak for their training! Have to sit on the floor!! while waiting for their flight!
As i said earlier, it's very low cost indeed...they're using white board here!

Nice photos Shaz! At least they made me realise how wrong can the Malaysian government be. Low cost terminal doesn't mean all the decoration and stuff like that should be low cost too! What are they having in mind? The government might be thinking "oh only less financially well-off people use the low cost terminals". What about those who prefer to ride on low cost terminals but a financially better? Obviously they never take that into account.
The entrace of the terminal was repulsive, so much like the interior. That terminal is not qualified to be called a terminal anyway. What a shame to our country.
To end with a positive note - at least they have coffee bean and wifi access! That's more like it =)
walau-a. so low cost? not i expected . :( should make at least nicer ma.
