Bernard Chandran in Fashion
(Blog Update For 22nd November 2006)What a day...just came back from Bernard Chandran's launch party for his new flagship boutique with new cncept and style. In conjunction with the Malaysian International Fashion Week 2006 happening on 23rd November onwards...I was invited to attend the cocktail reception party held at the gallery itself.
This time around, my colleagues Mei and Orange joined me for a fabulous evening accompanied by great food and company. Jack was suppose to come over with us for this evening but he wasn't able to make it as he had some stuffs to finish up...i guess exam is near eh! - Oh ya Andrew's Models were there too :P
This new flagship boutique reopened its doors with style and epic revamp. With an uber modern touch of retro chic - did you know that this boutique covers up four shop lots on the 2nd floor of KL Plaza?
The exhibition here is more of a Metropolitan Museum of Arts kinda gallery but which also meets up with Malaysia's Prince of Fashion. This premier exhibition features the above theme whereby Bernard Chandran featured a display of his creative concept, the retrospective explores Bernard Chandran's archives and contribution to fashion over the last 15 years.
There are two ends of this catwalk - where models would walk from one side to the other, i find this design great as it sets the focus of the audiences at two different locations - thus making it easier for audiences to view what's going on.
Bernard Chandran himself...featuring his 15 years of contribution towards the fashion industry - do drop by to visit his gallery and boutique.
Ready to wear collection @ Bernard Chandran.
Ready to wear collection @ Bernard Chandran (Totally Malaysian designed...)
Ready to wear collection @ Bernard Chandran (Ready for a new change in your wardrobe?).
Evening wear or going to the poolside??? - Your choice...
Some of the Andrew's Models were also there to officiate the event and dress up in Bernard Chandran's latest designs...
Of course - what's a party without the food. There are other pictures of the meatballs, sausages, cakes and all...but couldn't take a picture of it due to very low lighting.
Mussels and Spicy Wingz chicken - food are catered from Planet Hollywood.
Mei & Orange - my colleagues from Marketing who are interning here at Xfresh. Well the new flaship boutique is situated on the busy street of Kuala Lumpur @ Jalan Bukit Bintang - if translated onto English its "Star Hill".
Met a few of my friends here tonight at the event, Soo Aun - my fitness trainer at Fitness First Menara John Hancock was there too.
