Shang-Ri La Hotel: Putrajaya

(Blog Update For 19th October 2006)

So here it is...the continuation for the update that i was suppose to do like a few days ago but got held back with work. Dang...anyways i could still feel the "fullness" in my stomach from last night's dinner with colleagues at Marche Movenpick in The Curve.

Anyways - this buffet dinner at Shang-Ri La Hotel Putrajaya was with Jo and Jack - we went there for the special Ramadhan Buffet offer that Jo offered to us and it was too good to be true and we just couldn't resist it. Have fun looking at the pictures!!!

We visited the hotel - from outside to inside...and here's the ballroom counter :P

The eating part was fun :P Jack's playing with the shrimps as Jo makes our day by making us laugh so so so MUCH!!!

Simply aphrodisiac...well you know la what they say about mussels :P

Fruits and seafood...don't really mix well!!! But hey, i love keeping the mussels chilled!

For those of you who are planning to visit Malaysia, here's some local delicacies that you'll want to try!

More and more food...we ate from 7pm - 11.30pm that night at Shang-Ri La Putrajaya!!!

Ever wanted to try fruit cakes with more fruits? well Jack took this picture of a fruit cake with more kiwi's on top :P

Didn't know this before but each level at the hotel has a different theme - thus the lowest floor being called "earth".

This is so making me hungry right now...

The macaroni was ok but a little bit too hard and not "al-dente". Sauce was ok but the beef was too hard to chew on.

At that point of time, it was only a few more days till its Hari Raya. But now...in present time it's more like Xmas :P

I still prefer Jogoya for this matter!!!

A variety to mix from...and it's never enough!!!

Can't remember what was this exactly!!!

These lights are quite unique...the design and all - thanks to Jack for taking the photo!

The all new "BLUE LOUNGE" which is actually part of some eating / dining area of the hotel.

Always wanted to take a mirror image picture, but Jack got to do it before i did as he portrays this photo with mirror image on a nice black marble table!
