Curtin University - Class of 2006

(Blog Update For 15th July 2006)

It was my graduation ceremony for my BA Degree in MassCommunications - Double Major in Film Television Broadcasting & Public Relations. It was my BIG day! Perhaps something like my birthday...but oh well!!!

As usual, LUCT is trying to make a whole lot of money...rental for the graduation robe, mortarboard and hood is RM150 + deposit of RM300. And of course, if you wanna invite your parents (up to 2 max) is at RM 80 per person or 3rd person onwards is RM100. What a rip-off!!!

Anyways, my dad was there but my mom is out of the country for the moment...so ya she couldn't make it but she sms'd me :) Whee...

I was allowed to invite 4 corporate employees of ASTRO as i "sort of did" my internship at Astro (actually i was workin' there...) so 4 of my colleagues from Xfresh @ AMP Radio Networks were suppose to be there like my General Manager, Manager, and colleagues... i.e.: Terence, Ryan, Jack and Muiz. But last minute everyone couldn't make it except for Jack. He was there and wow, thanks alot bro!

Thanks Jack for being there and taking photos and all. Really appreciate it. I know you had to study too but hey, thanks alot. Really appreciate it. Anyways most of the photos for this update i did not edit it, i just added the caption and for 2 or 3 photos i edited them. So most of them are in their raw format now just the way you like it.

3/4 of the photos below are all taken by Jack. He has tremendously advanced forward in his skills in taking photos. I love quite a few shots below its really great. Thanks alot.

See the photo below of my fellow coursemate giving a speech. There's only 3 of them giving a speech, 1 red stripe, 1 yellow stripe 1 purple stripe...and missing a blue stripe right. Well i was suppose to give a speech as well. Was chosen amongst all the students in the Faculty of Communications but i rejected the offer to speak before everyone else as they wanted me to come to LUCT Cyberjaya Campus from monday to friday to rehearse!!! Expensive wei...but now come to think of it i think i should have been in front there to do the speech. I would have felt so GOOD!!! It is sure an honor to be there...make my parents proud, my family, my friends my brothers!!!

Oh ya, forgotten - i was amongst the few who got the awards for industry excellence. I received an award for "Best in PR Campaign - Sponsored by MDK PR Consultants". Cool nyer...get cash prize summore!!!

Anyways, enjoy the photos - and yes i will be going to Curtin in Perth Australia for their Graduation Ceremony this coming October.
