Ambassade De France & A Lonely Noel

(Blog Update For 10th May 2006)

Forgotten to write about this part of the day, of which after that trip to MV, Jack & I went to the French Embassy as planned, we had an appointment with the Press Attache to collect some media kit and invites for their upcoming events.

The meeting was also about possible future tie-ups with their events and all...so yea, the meeting was really fruitful - stayed there for about an hour or so...left the embassy (ya it was like a fortress...really tight security) and it was peak hour - traffic jam everywhere.

Guess how long it took me to get to Great Eastern Mall??? 1 HOUR from the embassy of which usually i can reach GE Mall in less than 3 minutes.

Anyways, met up with Ferhan for dinner...we all had dinner at Cozy House Restaurant...it was great.

This probably may not have anything to do with this post, but i just remembered that i did not blog anything about my Xmas celebration for the 25th December 2005 (last year), what a sad case...

The only thing i can remember is right after work at 8TV, i rushed over to MV for dinner with Jack & Friends at Chili's...that's about it.

Oh as far as Christmas presents for last year, i didn't get any....sadness...i thought i'd get at least one...but nahh...really sad, seeing other people exchanging gifts...getting gifts...and other public ppl buying gifts for their friends, and having them wrapped....

I even went through the trouble, hustle and bustle of the traffic jam in all the shopping malls (namely 1Utama and MV) to search for Xmas presents...having to wait and queue to get them wrapped...yes, the best part i didnt even get any in return.

I thought the culture is that we buy for each other or we buy for our friends...what happened???

Even worst is that i didn't even get a Xmas card. I wonder what happened...people stopped buying cards or something???

I'm sick of buying presents for my friends over the years, buying Xmas gifts...bday presents...i hardly or never get anything back :( I wonder if its just a waste of money or time and more than that...
