Traffic jam friday, in KL its always a friday...

Blog Update For 27th January 2006 (Friday)

Friday is always the worst day to come or go out of KL. Especially last friday 27th January, since its the long holiday weekend with Chinese New Year on the coming sunday.

Well, many roads were busy, shopping malls filled with people making their last minute shopping.But that still didn't stop the 8Team from doing our job, we still managed to get in and around town to perform our duties :)

Second location (5.45pm) of the day, i was doing it with Renee. The rest of the team members took the day off for CNY preparation and Chinese New Year family reunion dinner and all.I bet all the restaurants are fully packed this evening.

Coming back to the office after the second cross at around 6plus, it took us one hour to reach Bandar Utama from Ampang. Managed to get onto the Ampang Elevated Highway and followed on to a few other highways in KL and towards Bdr. Utama.

Renee needed to go back after the second cross, she got back to the office at 7.15pm and off i went for the 3rd cross of the day. Third cross location is at 7.45pm, managed to get there on time and left immediately after the cross.

MidValley Megamall was on the way back from Tmn. Connaught (on the MRR2) highway, decided to drop by at MV to pass some ang-pow packets to Jack since CNY is just around the corner.And there he goes...ber-posing with the 8TV car (X-Trail).

Seriously, working alone sometimes can be very hectic and stupid.But hey, went to Friendster Coffee @ Damansara Perdana right after the last cross and MV stopover. Had a little something to eat and drink at Friendster Coffee.

Parked the 8Team X-Trail just around the corner.Soon after, there were a trail of 3 Perodua Kembara spray-painted with "Xfresh StreetSurfers" on it...dropped by at Friendster Coffee for a cross over. This was so totally un-expected. I thought that their last cross for the day was at 5.55pm, but no...somehow they had a 8.55pm cross on this day.

They were promoting the Digi MTV Powerpack Prepaid plan...so they were wearing the Digi uniform instead of the Xfresh t-shirts as per usual.

Oh well, fun and exciting day...seriously, totally...unexpected to see the XFSS there.I went back straight to the office to lock up the car safely, took my car n drove home.
