Happy New Year 2006

What a long long day, well this lady (sales person) from True Fitness called me on friday afternoon and said that my friend had signed up at the gym and he referred me to her so she called. Oh well, she was telling me about this promotion (well, seriously...they always say its the last day...last day...ending promotion today...what NONSENSE)...come on, we all know that its not the last day and if it is the last day they will still honor the promotion price that they give you on the day that you came in to visit the gym.

Oh well, she was hoping that i'd come on the day itself, but i told her that i'll call her if i'm coming and she insisted again and again wanting to know when i was going to drop by. So i told her that i'll come over tomorow (saturday 31st). 9.30am on a saturday amorning, no WORK!!! whee...that lady called me and i was so pissed, she said "good morning mr. shaz, this is yen here from true fitness yea...just wondering what time are you coming today?"...come on, i already told her yesterday that if i want to come, i will give her a call..or even if i'm coming i will let her know. Come on, don't you sales people know about privacy, time when to call and when not to call...yes my phone is on 24/7 and its for emergency case only you'd call me in the middle of the night and yes i'd pick it up. But dude...come on...i sternly told her "Listen, if i'm coming i will give you a call, okay..." and she replied with "okay mr. shaz, remember yes my name is yen".

!#$^$&%&*....whatever, come on...first i already put in her mobile number in my phone and second she called me from her office phone, so yea i didn't recognise the number at first. I wouldn't have picked up if i knew it was true fitness calling. And why reminding me of your name? Come on...i'm not one of those buggars who are trying to get rid of you...i'm just trying to get some peace and sleep. Oh well...at least the other tele marketing people have the courtesy of calling after 10.30 or 11am...but seriously, this is outrageous.

Anyways, back to the topic of this post...right after the visit to True Fitness, i went to Burger King for dinner. Had dinner on NY eve alone...on my own, what a pity...oh well, Jay called and said that he's with his parents in Sunway and they only drove one car and he was stranded. So i picked him up in Sunway, we went to The Curve coz Steph wanted me to come over (hehehe)...met up with Jack and the gang there, and coincidentally came around Andrew, Alex, Kenny...

11.30 departed for Hartamas Square as we didn't know what to do there, and didn't want to get stuck in the jam when people are leaving the place after countdown. So yea...went to Hartamas, it was loaded with people but we managed to find our friends and have supper there right after the countdown.

Usually, i don't go out on NY eve. I remember that last year, on NY eve i went to Ziyad's house for BBQ party, then for the year before that i went to KLCC for dinner with a few friends at that thai restaurant "White House", and left for home by 11pm. Yes, i'm not one of those party people...
