8TV the Good Samaritan

In conjunction with Christmas celebration this 25th December, 8TV continuously try to do something to help out the community by giving more, rather than receiving. Therefore 8TV has made an effort to help a group of 40 orphans last tuesday from the Good Samaritan Home in KLANG.

40 Orphans from this home from the ages of 4 - 16 years old were brought out to Kuala Lumpur by 2 private buses chartered by 8TV to transport the orphans to experience an unforgettable day with 8TV celebrities such as Reena Omar of 8TV Quickie, and the 8Team who are flaming hot and glowing hotter by the months since their first launch last october.

The orphans were brought to Lotus nearby KLCC for a quick breakfast before jetting over to Aquaria for a fun filled day. They had lots to eat, ordered almost anything they want to eat and drink.

Right after breakfast, the coaches brought the whole lot to Aquaria which is situated at KLCC Convention Centre (KLCCCC) and everyone started enjoy the day. Santa Claus also made an appearance at the Aquaria, but wait a sec...8Team's Santa appeared too for lunch at The Chicken Rice Shop Great Eastern Mall.

Aquaria was fantastic, all sorts of fishes could be found and of course the two most famous fishes amongst kids "Nemo and Dory" were there too. Don't believe me...scroll down to look at the pictures for yourself.

Lunch at The Chicken Rice Shop was sponsored by TCRS the management company of the shop. It's a family business and we are glad that TCRS feels the same way about giving to the orphans, it's always nice to know that there are people out there who would support for such a cause.

The food at TCRS was awesome, had my favourite chicken fritters, pai-tee, and bbq honey chicken. The kids loved the food there, everyone finished their food but more was served by TCRS and it was just too much, they were too generous...thank you TCRS!!!

The Orphans had a great day, 8TV crew and the 8Team had a great day too although it was tiring for us, but the orphans had so much energy in them that they were still able to rock till dawn.
